Introduction to Massage Workshop

The Introduction to Massage Workshop is for anyone and everyone who wants to learn how to give a great massage! It is also great for people who are wondering if a career in massage is right for them. the full day workshop is taught by one or more of our experienced Licensed Massage Practitioners, and we usually have some of our talented students around to help out as well.

You will learn the best techniques from several different massage modalities including Swedish, Thai, Sports, Lomi Lomi and others. You will learn what the best lotions, supplies and equipment are and where to get them. You will learn how to generate a lot of pressure without having to work hard to do it. You will learn some great stretches and relaxation techniques and you will have a lot of fun!

We will spend some of our time in a classroom format covering the basics and answering questions. However, the majority of the day will be devoted to hands-on application and learning. 

Some of the specific modules are:

• Proper Body Mechanics
• Basic and Advanced Massage Sequences
• A One Hour Full Body Massage Routine
• A 20 Minute Thai Massage Routine

The 8-hour workshop starts at 9:00AM and ends at 5:00PM. We take a break around noon to stretch and have some lunch. The cost for the workshop is only $75.
