 Jennifer Anderson, L.M.P.

Jennifer specializes in teaching Craniosacral Therapy.  In addition to instructing Jennifer enjoys a successful massage practice treating patients in Seattle.  Her passion for massage and incredible teaching style help keep students excited about their training in these valuable healing arts.

 

Jim Whitney, L.M.P.
Jim is our instructor of Kinesiology.  In addition his extensive knowledge in this area, he has the ability to impart his knowledge to students in a variety of teaching styles.  Jim also has an established practice in Massage Therapy in the Issaquah area.

 

Tina Wright, L.M.P.
A graduate of the Northwest School of Massage, Tina specializes in the field of Swedish Massage, Seated Massage, Deep Tissue and Sports Massage.  She is patient, detail oriented and passionate in the field of healing touch. Her compassion and dedication to teaching make her an incredible instructor.

 

Gary Michaelberger, R.N.
A self-proclaimed “lifelong student” Gary’s extensive knowledge in the area of Anatomy and Physiology, as well as his excitement and passion for the subject make Gary unequivocally the best A& P teacher that N.W.S.M. has ever had.  In addition to teaching Gary works as a Registered Nurse in Olympia.

 

Kelly D. Anissipour, L.M.P.
Kelly is the director of student services.  She also teaches Hot Stone Massage, Business and Ethics.  Her B.A. in finance as well as her experience in building her own successful personal injury practice makes her post graduate support to the students priceless.

 

Laura Srygley, L.M.P., C.W.P.
Laura is a certified Watsu practitioner and licensed massage therapist. A Florida native with a lifelong love of water, she draws on her experience in aquatic healing arts, massage, physical therapy, Shiatsu, Jin Shin Jyutsu, Craniosacral therapy, as well as dance, yoga and qigong, to let each session unfold individually. Laura is a member of the Worldwide Aquatic Bodywork Association (WABA).

 

John Cheney, L.M.P.
John is a very gifted therapist, as well as instructor, with a primary practice in Jin Shin Do, along with Cranial Sacral, Shiatsu, Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue and Swedish Massage. Using a body centered approach to healing; his areas of specialization include trauma and general health issues.  In addition to teaching in the health care field, John is an incredible musician and piano teacher.

In addition to the above instructors we also have other instructors on staff that come in and teach their areas of expertise throughout our 6 month course.
