Where can I work after becoming licensed?
Massage therapists work in a variety of settings, including health care offices, spas, home offices, and cruise ships.
What kind of income can I expect to earn?
Most massage therapists charge between $45 and $105 per hour. A full time therapists normally works 20 to 25 hours per week.
Will I be an employee or my own boss?
You can choose either. Some therapists like the security of working for a doctor or other professionals. Others prefer the freedom of owning their own practice.
Is the course difficult?
The massage training program is intense, but classes are small (maximum 12 students), and there is a lot of one on one instruction.
